A Muscular Bike

I bought myself a spinner bike. I have been spinning all over the basement. It came with DVD workouts. I thought it would be picturesque scenery like in Hawaii or Europe, to get you motivated and make you think you are actually riding outside in a beautiful place, only without the hot of summer or ice of winter. But no. I am one if the class, with an instructor up front who keeps telling you to work harder and sweat more. I have to admit, the instructors ARE muscular, so it must be doing them some good. Maybe if I do it long enough I, too, will become muscular, and sweat like a pig when I am riding. I'll keep you posted. I'm sure I'm going to be svelte!

I taught my second Institute class on Monday. It was on being financially prepared. It wasn't a small class, but they didn't find me the least bit funny. We didn't laugh at all (I was laughing in my head, but they weren't). So we talked about finances. And what's funny about that!?!

I finally broke down and had a body shop clean the cement speckles from the tile guys off my beautiful blue car. It looked spanking new when they were done. That was the same day I had to go up to Institute to teach and get a salt delivery (I forgot they were on the same day, so the time was a little tight). As I was leaving, there were three guys outside in the parking lot. As I drove out, they waved appreciatively at me. (the car, of course, not ME) It looked good. But then it rained the next day, so it doesn't look quite so new and shiny. I need to wash it, I guess.
