• Don't have a badge OR a calling yet, but I started at the Institute this week. I did little bits of stuff. There is a "service corner" where they have quilt to tie, hats to be knitted, and some pictures to color (for alphabet instruction in a literacy project). I sat there a while and made a hat (which I later completely unraveled before I went home) and visited with students. I also updated some rolls for teachers (put on students who had come to the class and signed their name on the roll, and then printed them out). I think I will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10-2. It was fun. (Although, I DO have to dress up every day.......)
• I went to my first YW meeting Friday, and I have another one this morning. (It's more work than playing for Primary!)
• I gave a wedding shower for Emily yesterday. It was very nice. She gets married on October 3.
• I had Jenn's boys over on Friday night (while J/T did a dinner at their house). We went to Carl's for dinner, they played at the Play Place, and then we came home, showered and watched Ice Age. Then they slept over. They were really good! I was proud of them.
